Exposition of Sacred Relics

Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 PM

Sacred Relics Of The Saints: Treasures Of The Church

Immaculate Conception Parish presents a teaching and exposition of Sacred Relics by Father Carlos Martins of the Companions of the Cross.

Among the 150 treasures, some 2000 yrs old, will be relics of St. Maria Goretti, St. Therese of Lisieux (the “Little Flower"), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Faustina Kowalska.  In addition, there will also be present a portion of the veil of Our Lady, as well as one of the largest remaining pieces of the True Cross in the world.  Those in attendance will be able to examine and venerate each relic.

In the Church’s history many miracles and healings have been worked in the presence of relics, and many have been healed through this ministry.  Please do not miss this opportunity.  You are encouraged to bring your articles of devotion (such as rosaries, holy cards, etc.) and pictures of ill friends/family members which you will be able to touch to the reliquaries as a means of intercession.

For additional information and news, please be sure to read our weekly bulletin.

"Sorrowful Mysteries" Play

Presented by The Franciscan Mystery Players

Friday, March 20, 2015
Immaculate Conception Church

“The Sorrowful Mysteries” is a dramatic multi-media presentation of the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Rosary.

The play calls for no speaking parts. Through the use of special lighting, inspirational music, drama and soul-searching meditations, a person is able to get in touch with their goodness, struggles and their sins.  Then, in a very unique way it becomes a prayerful vehicle for the Lord's spirit to Forgive, Renew and especially Heal. This moving dramatic meditation promises to be a high point in our Parish’s lenten journey.

Because of the intensity of the subject matter of suffering and death, it may not be recommended for very young children.  We strongly encourage all our ADULTS and TEENS to attend this unique and prayerful presentation.

To view a copy of our 2015 Lenten Calendar click here.  We encourage you to print a copy and keep it in a convenient place to remind you of the different prayer times and experiences available during this Lenten Season.  Please refer to the weekly bulletin for updates and additional information.

Volunteer & Prayer Opportunities

There are many ways in which you can become more involved in the life of the Parish.  Why not explore one of the many volunteer or prayer ministries that we offer.  Click here for a complete Ministries Directory.

Volunteer Ministries
Volunteers are the heart and soul of our parish. The success and very existence of so many of our
programs are the direct result of the time and talent donated by our parishioners. As a parish with over
3,000 families, we are always in need of more volunteers. Whether you are single or married, working or retired, a stay-at-home parent, or anything in between, there is some way that you can help.
Please take some time to pray and discern to find the perfect opportunity for you.

Prayer Ministries
Prayer deepens our faith and draws us closer to God.  We strive each and everyday for holiness in a
world filled with challenges, may we respond generously to God's invitation to goodness and a personal relationship with Him by our practice of devotion and love for Jesus and Mary.

ICC welcomes your consideration and your willingness to serve.

If you would like to become more involved in our parish community, consider volunteering for one of the follwing opportunities ...

RELIGIOUS EDUCATIONWe are always looking for teen and adult volunteers to assist with our various Religious Education programs throughout the year.  If you are interested in working with our children in any capacity, please contact the Religious Ed Office at 603-888-0608 or via email.

HIGH SCHOOL CONFIRMATION PROGRAMWe are in need of individuals to help coordinate and assist with our Sunday evening Educational Nights.  You can help as a member of our Educational core, Mission Service core or by becoming a "behind the scenes" member of our Prayer Team.  For more infomation, please contact Carmen, our Catechetical leader and Youth Minister at 603-888-0608 x228 or via email.

ARTS & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE:  As a member of this committee, you would assist with the set-up and take-down of the Church environment for all special events throughout the year. This includes the liturgical seasons of Advent/Christmas, Lent and Easter, as well as other special events like First Communion, Confirmation and All Souls. For more information or to volunteer please contact the Parish Office at 603-888-0321 or via email.

BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY:  We're looking for people who are willing to be part of a Bereavement Reception Ministry. The Bereavement Reception Ministry will be organizing receptions in the Gathering Hall following funerals at ICC, as a service to grieving families.  You don't necessarily have to be available at a moments notice to serve at a funeral -- Your role may be donating and preparing food from home and dropping it off at the gathering hall at ICC.  We are hoping to gather enough volunteers together that we will have roles covered and only need to call on people a few times a year.  If you are interested in more information please email the bereavement committe.

MASS MINISTRIES:  We are always in need of additional volunteers to assist at our weekend Masses as Eucharistic Ministers, Lectors and Altar Servers.  If you are interested in pursing any one of these opportunities, more information is provided in the Worship section of our website (click here to navigate to that page) or by contacting the Parish Office via email or at 603-888-0321.

MARRIAGE PREPARATION COUPLES:  Immaculate Conception Parish is looking for committed couples, who have been married for at least 3 years, to assist in the marriage preparation process. This volunteer opportunity would involve meeting with engaged couples to review their individual FOCCUS results.  FOCCUS (Facilitating Open Couple Communication and Study) is an internationally used tool designed to provide engaged couples and those working with them, a personalized profile of what to “focus” on in their marriage preparation process. It is both a starting place for couple discussion and a map of what issues need time and attention, or problem solving.  All couples involved in this ministry are required to attend a one time training session. If you would like to explore this opportunity or would just like more information, please contact the Parish Office at 603-888-0321 or via email.

Immaculate Conception Parish offers Eucharistic Adoration with Exposition every Wednesday from 9am to 8:45pm.  All are invited to come & pray before the Blessed Sacrament.  Adoration provides a wonderful, grace-filled retreat from the hectic routines of daily life. Come pray, meditate, or simply sit in the presence of our Lord for as long as you’d like.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  Are you interested in making a weekly, one hour commitment to help staff Wednesday Adorations? Or perhaps you could help as a substitute.  We are always in need of additional volunteers.  If you can help, please contact the Adoration team through our contact form.
