Life Ministries

In 1998, Immaculate Conception Parish renewed it's youth ministry and became part of the national Life Teen movement. The ministry was seen by the pastoral council as so successful in its experiential way of "leading teens closer to Christ" that we set out to the same model, for not only the High School teens, but for people of any age.

Each ministry is rooted in the Eucharist and followed a dynamic Gather, Proclaim, Break and Send format, in the same way our celebration of Mass "Gathers" the community of believers; "Proclaims" the Good News of Jesus Christ; "Breaks" open the Word and the sharing of Eucharist; and then "Sends" us forth.

Life Teen, the High School Ministry, meets on Sunday following the 5:00PM LIFE Mass (during the school year with the exception of holidays).

The Edge, the Middle School Ministry, meets weekly on Monday nights at 7:00PM (except during the summer months).
