Women of Worship

Women Of Worship is a women’s Catholic faith formation ministry
(formerly known as MOMS)

We meet the 1st Wednesday of each month from
9:00 to 11:00 AM
Childcare is offered for pre-school children.

Mission:  Women of Worship  is an inclusive ministry welcoming all adult women of the parish who have a desire to deepen their personal relationship with Christ through the study of Catholic Church teaching, its various expressions of 
                                         spirituality and prayer forms.

We will achieve this mission by fostering the following goals:

  • Women will learn about their Catholic faith
  • Women will nurture and deepen their own spirituality
  • Women will be equipped to live the Catholic Church’s Mission

Operation:  We meet the first Wednesday of every month from 9 to 11 AM.  We begin with fellowship in the Gathering Hall, and then we segue into our meeting where a guest speaker presents a topic.  We continue to offer childcare for preschool children.  We advertise in the parish bulletin and through email.

Calendar:  Our theme for 2010-2011 year will be PRAYER.  We will explore the different prayer forms of the Church to include LIturgy of the Mass, The Liturgical Year, Liturgical Music, Praying the Scriptures, Liturgy of the Hours, Spontaneous Prayer/Listening to God, Novenas (including DIvine Mercy) and The Rosary. Our projected program meeting dates for 2010/2011 are as follow:
