2009 Confirmation

Teens in the 11th grade who have completed the process of preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation, will celebrate full initiation into the Catholic Church on Sunday, November 1st at the 5:00pm LIFE Mass. Our celebrant will be The Most Reverened Bishop John B. McCormack.

IMPORTANT: The following MUST be submitted to the Religious Ed. Office before a candidate can be presented for the Sacrament:

1) Baptismal Record (if not Baptized at I.C.
2) Sponsor Certificate
3) Confirmation Name Form
4) MANNA Personal Tracking Record

If you have not already done so, please provide this information to the Religious Ed. Office as soon as possible.

REHEARSAL: Confirmation Rehearsal is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31st from 11AM to 12:30PM in the Church. Rehearsal is MANDATORY for Confirmation candidates AND their sponsors. If a sponsor is not available, a parent should attend in their place.

CONFIRMATION DRESS CODE ~ Business Attire
For Women: Dresses, suits, skirts & appropriate tops, pant suits; low heels or flat shoes (no sandals, flip flops, etc.)
For Men: Dress pants, shirts, suits, sweaters or vests, ties; dress shoes

PICTURES ~ We ask that people refrain from taking photographs during the ceremony to preserve an appropriate reverence for the Sacrament.

RECEPTION ~ The Knights of Columbus will sponsor a reception in the Gathering Hall of the Spiritual Center following the celebration of Confirmation.

Confirmation certificates will be available in the Hall.
